Will be analyzing and take closer look on players stats,eye tests and putting some thoughts on them to have an early idea of which players you should own at the beginning of the season so lets get into it.

It is so obvious that TAA's season was extra-ordinary,he was an FPL legend on defending spot and outscored many Midfielders and Strikers on FPL. In fact we begun to consider him as a midfielder in our teams and he is the most popular SEASON KEEPER player in lot of teams including mine.
HE WILL COST EVEN MORE NEXT SEASON,IS HE WORTH IT?
This popular question lot of managers asking including me at some point when planning to next season,but after research,the answer is clear ! here are some points to consider ;

1. LIVERPOOL DEFENSE: over the years,after the signing of ALISSON and VAN DIJK were one of the most nailed clean sheets providers of all time,a defender from LIVERPOOL will be essential and even if TAA fail to provide attacking returns,clean sheet points is good enough don't you think?.
2. FREE KICKS AND CORNERS : strong attacking returns of Arnold were from free kicks and corners and he will continue to provide it more and more!hot source of assists as LIVERPOOL has tall powerful players like VVD and Henderson who can score them,as well as he is so good at taking free-kicks and he give that feeling that he is going to score.
3. PLAYING FOR A SIDE THAT IS ALWAYS GOOD : playing for a team that always have ambitions for the champions league and the premier league is a good thing to have a player that you can play against all teams even against TOP-6 side and you know he can get out of it with clean sheet points or assist.
4. THE FACT THAT HE IS ONLY 21 YEARS OLD : the scary thing about Arnold that he is very young, Beautiful and Scary thing to watch,when he get into his full ability,i think he will be one of the best RWB in the history of football. Excited to see this happen.
5. FEW OPTIONS FOR MID-PRICE MIDFIELDERS : to be honest, i think this year there will so much prices you can't afford especially for MID spot, 9-12 Mids will be on so much options and you can't get them all,Arnold can outscore all mid-priced midfielders and can be shield pick as well for his ownership.
   
   

In Conclusion : TRENT AT ￡7.5m IS MY FIRST "ESSENTIAL" LOOKED IN PLAYER FOR 20/21.

2-ANDREW ROBERTSON

As shown in stats,Robertson is one if the best FPL assets that proved himself over several years,his numbers are pretty similar to TAA's and all the points i discussed above on Arnold can be said about ROBBO,although i like the CORNERS/FREE-KICKS Advantage that Trent has so im going with TRENT on this one.The Factors that may makes me change my mind and rethink the situation :

1. TRENT HIGH PRICE-TAG : If TRENT comes in on £8.0m while Robbo comes like £7.0m i think that extra money will make me re-think the decision as it will be tough season on that aspect.
2. SHARING CORNERS : On some occasions,ROBBO did take corners on his side of the field and if this happen regularly,i think ROBBO can match or even outscore Trent Points.
3. SALAH FORM : If Robertson want more assists to his name, form of the Egyptian King is needed as he score Robertson Crosses and Tap his long passes In! That is why Robertson can make at least 15 assists at least if Salah convert half of his passes, so SALAH FORM IS IMPORTANT FOR ROBERTSON.

IN CONCLUSION: ROBERTSON/ARNOLD IS 50/50 PICK IF THEY SHARE CORNERS AND FREE-KICKS AND EXTRA MONEY CAN HELP ON OTHER SPOTS. ALTHOUGH IT IS TRENT FOR ME UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE.

On this debate,my advice is to pick the SHIELD pick between these two for the beginning of the season,that would be TRENT, then if the conditions above seem to be there in LIVERPOOL TEAM,you can switch with your WILD CARD to ROBERTSON and try the best to use the extra money fixing your team.

3-MATT DOHERTY

Since WOLVES promoted to the premier league, DOHERTY became one of our favorite FPL asset,he is growing fast in his potential as well as his team that finished 7 place on very tough premier league season, DOHERTY potentials is quiet big when he plays attacking roles for WOLVES on 3-5-2 formation and he can provide assists and high attacking threats and that where most of his attacking returns come from,although he is great asset but considering him on the beginning of the season on my team will depend on some factors : 

1. EUROPA LEAGUE PROGRESSION : Before considering DOHERTY on our teams at the beginning of the season, we should be aware that the teams that makes higher stages of their European competitions may have blank game week at the beginning.
2. WILLY BOLY : When BOLY is fit for action, the Clean Sheet odds for Wolves can be really high. He is so essential for the team and his effect has being obvious on defensive stats of Wolves, so when BOLY is available,DOHERTY will be more appealing to target in your team for the clean sheet points at least.
3. ADAMA TRAORE : Yep as you heard, TRAORE can influence DOHERTY's performance but not in a good way. As said above, DOHERTY best performances and most of his attacking returns comes on 3-5-2 formation which needs ADAMA to be benched, When ADAMA starts on 3-4-3 formation, DOHERTY will play defensive roles and attacking returns are so rare on that position.
4. FIXTURES RATING : Although Wolves are very strong side to play against, but their clean sheet odds really depend on Fixtures as they score small amount of goals and play defensively. 

IN CONCLUSION : The decision on including DOHERTY in my FPL draft at the beginning of the season should come after we get PRICES,FIXTURES AND EUROPA LEAGUE RESULTS AS WELL AS THE STATUS OF THE AVAILABLE TEAM.

4-CESAR AZPILICUETA

Azpilicueta had really good and if it was not for poor CHELSEA defense, he could have scored more points. He is one of the most creative defenders of the game and if CHELSEA can improve he will improve as well, Conditions for selecting Azpilicueta in my team should be : 

1. CHELSEA DEFENSE : THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR AND WEAK SPOT OF CHELSEA IS THEIR WEAK BACK-LINE, If they can sign strong center back and good goal keeper, the chances of clean sheets would increase and he would get lot more points. 
2. T.WERNER : It is always special relationship between Azpilicueta and strikers of CHELSEA so if WERNER come into the side strong in good form he will convert lot of Azpilicueta passes and crosses.
3. INJURY SITUATION AS WELL AS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE : Same as Wolves, CHELSEA has European competition left to play,although it would be a miracle if they qualify after losing 3-0 first leg. but they do qualify, there will be blank game week for CHELSEA. Other thing that we saw how he got injured on FA-CUP final against ARSENAL so his return will determine whether he is worth consideration or not.

IN CONCLUSION : AZPILICUETA PUNT SHOULD WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH INJURIES AND TEAM STATUS OF SIGNINGS, SHOULD BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PUNT FOR HIS HIGH PRICE.

5-ENDA STEVENS

To be honest, I didn't SHEFFIELD UNITED to make this incredible season,They did great job after they got promoted, Their Lethal weapon was their defense, They made an incredible amount of clean sheets and their defensive assets were so essential. The Stand Out options is Stevens, his record and stats show that he is real value when it comes to defensive spot in FPL, his attacking what made his special. To get him into serious consideration in my early draft, Following conditions are really essential :

1. SHEFFIELD UNITED FORM : It was a great season for the blades, but will they continue their run? The premier league is getting so hard and they need to stick to their form to run a good season like that. Waiting for some good signings to ensure that their team is actually have strong ambitions for European spot.
2. DEAN HENDERSON : As we all know, one of the biggest secrets of SHEFFIELD success is their amazing keeper, And as we all know, HE IS NOT THEIR PLAYER. He came in as a loan deal from M.United, If he goes back to M.United i can't see any of their defensive assets near my team.
3. FIXTURES RATINGS : Fixtures will really determine is he is worth a punt at the beginning of the season, He can amazing asset with clean sheets and attacking returns but if they play top side, It will be difficult to choose him especially with his price that should be around £5-5.5m.

IN CONCLUSION : I WOULD WAIT AND SEE HOW SHEFFIELD UNITED WILL REACT TO THE NEW SEASON BEFORE BUYING STEVENS IN MY TEAM.

6-MOHAMMED SALAH

SALAH is the true FPL HERO. Let's begin talking about SALAH with this thing stay in mind, For me SALAH was so unlucky this season with all that injury issues and every time he hit his best form something occurs and he just begin building momentum after it. SALAH In one of his worst season's hit 233 points on FPL which is more than his team mate SADIO MANE's 221 that had one of his best season's ! maybe SALAH was the victim of his own greatness 😏 Don't believe me ?

Lets compare this season with his best season [17/18] by numbers and see the differences :

SALAH 2017-2018 SEASON BY NUMBERS

Note on that season, SALAH became the most FPL POINTS SCORER OF ALL TIME WITH 303 POINTS ! pretty impressive yea? so what is the difference between now and then ? lets take closer look.

By stats, SALAH took nearly the same amount of shots this season and back then, i mean, 132 shot (59 on target)  is very impressive number [Best in League] yet he scored 19 goal this season while he scored 32 on 17/18 from nearly same shots amount. That's great difference for what on paper seems very similar. here are the reasons i'm thinking of :

• SHARING THE SPOTLIGHT : By looking at the differences that occurred in the LIVERPOOL TEAM now and then, it is quite obvious that things aren't like the 17/18 season. The team was kind of love playing for SALAH only letting him score 32 goals from 84 goals at that time. LIVERPOOL keep scoring high amounts of goals every season but year after year SALAH drop some goals (32 then 22 then now 19), The goals are scored by different players .as example of that his team mate SADIO MANE scored 18 goal now and only 10 back then, since he took number 10 kit with LIVERPOOL he has been essential player for them and he will keep competing with SALAH for goals. 
• LIVERPOOL DEFENSE : Since they signed ALISSON and VAN DIJK, LIVERPOOL become the best defense in the world. in a lot of games where it should be lot of goals LIVERPOOL can score 1 or 2 and end the game with them. That's winning team mentality as they were chasing the league not the numbers.
• DIFFERENT TEAM STRATEGIES : Now days for non top-6 teams, If your team can't defend properly YOU WILL get relegated from the premier league regardless of your attack. The PARKING BUS became quite popular on 19/20 season and strong defense from teams like SHEFFIELD/BURNLEY/CRYSTAL PALACE/WOLVES..etc. Those teams can put a real fight with defense and that will be so hard from strikers like SALAH who get benefit of spaces and counter attacks.
• FIRMINO'S FORM : He is one of the most creative players on LIVERPOOL. The true soul of the team that connects SALAH and MANE and give them the spaces they need. It is obvious that FIRMINO wasn't on his best seasons and this regress affected SALAH and MANE scoring record a lot. I can't even remember how many times he was subbed off or getting rest. Hope that FIRMINO find himself [BEST SELF] this season and score more goals as he scored 15 on 17/18 season and now just 9.

After being said, This why i think SALAH should be on your team at the beginning of the season:

1. CONSISTENCY : It has been 3 seasons since SALAH joined LIVERPOOL and his least show amounts came on this season. Yep his worse shooting record is 132 !
2. OPENING GAME GOAL : Since SALAH joined LIVERPOOL, He scored one every opening game of the season. He scored on 17/18 season the third goals on 3-3 draw against WATFORD. on 18/19 season he scored the first goal against WEST HAM on 4-0 win for the reds. And on 19/20 season he scored against NORWICH on 4-1 win. AND NOW SEASON 20/21 LOADING.
3. RETAINING THE PAST GLORY : After losing the Golden Boot for the first time since he joined LIVERPOOL for VARDY, SALAH will try to win what his own and prove that he is NOT one season wonder, yet again  SALAH is +200 points project every season.
4. SHIELD PICK FOR CAPTAINCY : Even though SALAH will be on +£ 12m this season but lot of people will get him in especially if has good fixture. SALAH captains odds will be high and i think there is 70% chance that he will score.
5. LACK OF EUROPEAN COMPETITIONS : As said about teams with CHAMPIONS or EUROPA leagues games left, SALAH will be fully rested with no blank game week at the beginning and that will make him,yet again very popular choice. 
6. ATTACKING LEAGUE : AS LIVERPOOL won the long waited league after all, their journey as defending champions has come as they need to make competitions high as it will be one tough league to compete with so many strong teams with ambitions, I think 15 teams at least will be so ambitious to take European spot this year. Attacking ambitious teams will make a good season for SALAH as he needs to shine to fight for so many reasons.

IN CONCLUSION : SALAH IS MY SECOND "ESSENTIAL" LOOKED IN PLAYER FOR 20/21.

7-Sadio Manè

MANE SEASON BY NUMBERS

Sadio Mane was on his best season as He helped LIVERPOOL a lot to win the premier league , he was there when they needed him and his goals and assists really gave LIVERPOOL the win on tough games.

After all said , Mane best FPL season scoring 221 FPL points once again ended up to be NOT better than Salah's season, on Shots race Salah has double Mane's total shots which ones again makes him better FPL option. After searching Manè performance, He is gradually increase in FPL form season after season especially after he took number 10 shirt to shine as Liverpool main man on big games ! After only 10 goals on 17/18 campaign , he won the golden boot alongside Salah and Aubameyang by 22 Goals , pretty impressive ! To ensure that he is on increasing form, he scored 18 goals this season which is so good by itself as it was difficult season.
On FPL terms,the choice between these duo always the key for more points and this season i think Salah and Mane will be in the same price of £12.0m which will make it more difficult to choose.
So on this debate, we can see that Salah regresses season after season in terms of goals (32-22-19) While Mane (10-22-18) is pretty much the same as he took number 10.
For Me my advice is to see Salah power points and Manè form to make the best decision, in terms of shots, shot on target and goals it is always Salah's season even if he is not in best form, Manè is a better baller than Salah and helps the team a lot but it is not always good on FPL terms. The Stats is right before you and you can take your own choice of which Liverpool attacker to own.
I love owning them both on the beginning of the season so lets see how Champions league and Europa League will go maybe the blank game week will make us target them both on our teams ❤️

IN CONCLUSION : MANE IS BEAUTIFUL PLAYER BUT IT IS SALAH FOR ME UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE.

8-JAMIE VARDY

This season was wonderland for VARDY and for Leicester city team in general, If it wasn't for the injuries of all important players they had ( MADDISON, CHILWELL, RECARDO , NDIDI ) they would have finished 3rd. for VARDY it was t was one of the best VARDY PARTY ever as he was captain choice every week that it became so risky not to captain him. Such beautiful form he was in until he had that little girl 😂 Thankfully he finished the season as golden boot winner he deserved that. As FPL ASSET, This season VARDY will have so many tests before he got into my team and the big problems are : 

• VARDY'S PRICE-TAG : After such an amazing season, there is no doubt that VARDY will have a raise in his price, maybe to £10.5m. That is quite a lot of money to pay for non top-6 asset, i know you say that leicester city is a top side, yeah they are good and beautiful team but we loved VARDY every year for £9.0m and that was fun but now i think will be too much.
• VARDY'S AGE : I love VARDY he is one of the best strikers in PL history. But now after qualifying for EUROPA LEAGUE and difficult league games, I think it is too hard for 34 year old striker to play every single match with full physical and mental health. I will be amazed if BRANDON R. finish transfer window with no proper substitution for VARDY.
• TRANSFER WINDOW : We saw how important is every single player of their formation for the team as a whole, when one of them get injured it will effect the entire team performance. AS this article is early thoughts on these players,L.CITY players have a lot of attention from bigger teams so i think selling CHILWELL or MADDISON will effect the team as well as VARDY.
• LEICESTER CITY FORM : yeah they made an incredible season, but will they do it again ? from one point of view this was great season that will be a memory after they sell their key players, but on the other, this form will continue and maybe we will see team number 7 for the top-6 teams 😆.

MY CONDITIONS ON GETTING VARDY AT THE START OF THE SEASON 

1. FIXTURES : If they have good fixtures maybe i will consider VARDY at the beginning of the season  even if his price +£10m .
2. LEICESTER SEEMS INTEREST AGAIN IN TOP-3 FINISH: That will be more clear with transfer window still open to see whether they sell their key players or getting more strong team to compete ! all will be on VARDY's benefit.

ON THIS DEBATE : we all know how VARDY enter VARDY PARTY mode when he scores just one goal, i suggest fast jump to the PARTY rather than waiting for anyone to show up, i mean, that is what cool kids do right 😎 so get into the streak when stats and eye test show that VARDY is up to the task. it will be tough season on money perspective for players prices so be wise with it.

IN CONCLUSION : VARDY IS A WAIT AND SEE TILL THE END OF TRANSFER WINDOW AND FIXTURES ANNOUNCEMENT. I LOVE QUICK JUMP ON VARDY TRAIN RATHER THAN WAITING FOR IT TO MOVE.

9-DANNY INGS

It was a season to remember for Danny, we loved him so much this season as an FPL asset, he scored goals non stop until the end of the season and he became captain option as well.

Danny scored only one penalty and if he scored the other he got he could have shared the golden boot with Vardy. ALL GOALS FROM OPEN PLAY ! Impressive !

His total shots and shots on target really shows how he is a brutal finisher to get all these numbers on mid table team such Southampton.

South after that tragedy against Leicester city and losing 9-0 really showed some class and transforming to better and better team, their form has been increasingly going up that the draw against United and won against M.City in few days! That is some change 😉

Although , Considering Danny Ings at the beginning of the season have these issue :

1. INGS PRICE-TAG : we loved Danny as a budget option for the attck spot , he was such a hero for his starting price and then he got price rises a lot until he finished on £7.6m . Thats huge difference and i think he will be priced +£8m this season which makes him even more difficult to get.
2. ONE SEASON WONDER : Don't hate me to say this but, Will Danny Ings perform well this season again ? 22 Goals for a Southampton striker is beautiful thing to watch but will it happen again ? Ings is brutal finisher who can score with half of chances that is available for other strikers like Chris Wood who just can't stop missing big chances and for Danny only 8 big chances missed through out the season make you feel like he is the perfect striker deserved to be in perfect club ! But will Southampton continue their form ? The league is becoming so hard this year so let't see how they react with transfer window still open. 👀
3. WHO Will WIN GOLDEN BOOT : Know it is too early to say this , but i think and i can see that Salah/Kane are the best contenders with real big chance to win the race this season , with they were out last season , this season can be the real threat for Ings and other strikers that on mid table teams
4. INJURY PRONE : Ings is well known for his Injury situation as he get injured a lot but it seems like he is over it now, lot of games this season he subbed off early as his fitness situation, he seem to be very tired after one hour, although since restart he looked very fit and played 90 minutes most of matches , His fitness maybe the key of getting him or not at the beginning of the season.

I love owning Ings despite this disadvantages so i will be looking at this point before considering him on my team : 

FIXTURES and BLANK GAME WEEK : now that Wolves and M.United qualified , with City and Chelsea playing 👀 the chances of Blank Game week 1 is getting closer and if that happened, Danny Ings can be so appealing again and great shout to own first, the rest time he got , fitness , transfer market and team spirit as a whole with his fixtures is promising against attacking sides , he will on my team regardless of the price 👀.

IN CONCLUSION : DANNY INGS IS SOMEONE TO LOOK FOR WHEN FIXTURES IS ANNOUNCED.

10-P.E.AUBAMEYANG

Since he joined Arsenal , he had been one of the best transfer i have ever seen in football , Aubameyang proved that he is one of the best strikers in the league scoring important goals and carrying Arsenal all this time . HE scored 54 Goals in the premier league since he joined Arsenal and won Golden Boot last season.

Really show how quality he is and how the team was in need for his goals.

I Love how Arsenal changed under Arteta to be Big Games club winning FA Cup and punishing every top side possible. 

After winning the golden boot last season , Aubameyang became one goal away from winning it again which made it even more impressive considering he is playing without a proper play maker ! .

FPL Site hinting that Aubameyang could be Midfielder this season ! Huge news to the game as it will so difficult now to choose your mids 👀.

If Aubameyang makes it to the Midfielder spot , I Will Own him for these reasons :

1. ARTETA : The most important factor to look forward for Arsenal assets this season is this man. He is already making dream job at Arsenal winning the FA Cup after that wait, the team seems fighting for the name of Arsenal again and Aubameyang is the happiest one among them , as their captain and goal scorer ! I can see Arsenal climbing the table next season and Aubameyang will make even better improvement to his goal tally 👀.
2. LACK OF EUROPEAN GAMES : As it may be blank game week for some big clubs, Arsenal is free to play after winning the cup and qualifying directly into EUROPA LEAGUE so after summer training and pre-season , the team will be on great shape to begin the season on fire .
3. PLAY MAKER : What is so special about Auba is that his goals is impressive for a striker playing with a team without proper play maker, Imagine if he has KDB on his side 😂.So with transfer window open and the news saying Coutinho may be close to join Arsenal on loan , I think their Mid with Ceballos and Coutinho will benefit Aubameyang a lot so score more goals.
4. TEAM SPIRIT : The team form is increasing since Arteta took charged abd winning a trophy will make Arsenal even more hungry to be old days Arsenal , in temrs of reasons to fight , i think Arsenal will be one of the most teams to fight 
5. GOLDEN BOOT RACE : I think Auba is dorect continder to win it again with good team around and great manager , he will fight even more to get his dream come true and win it again.
6. MIDFIELDER : If Auba seriously be Midfielder on FPL , that extra 1 point for a goal and 1 point for a clean sheet will make him even more appealing now , the other great thing about that is the easy replace with KDB/Salah/Mane/Bruno/Sterling/Son as he will be on similar price so i will be happy if they do make him a mid.

I love Auba but the only problem with him and for Arsenal is lack of consistency as he score 2 one game then blank 3 games after it but with Arteta i feel confident that Arsenal will make a good form and Auba begin to provide points more consistently.

IN CONCLUTION :- AUBAMEYANG AS A MID IS MY THIRD "ESSENTIALl" LOOKED IN PLAYER FOR 20/21.
