Hello everyone hope you doing ok and having nice break.
After fixtures got released, I will try as much as I can to help you guys by these articles.
Now I will start "BUILDING YOUR TEAM" series in which we will have an idea on team selections which may help you. 
First one will be "A MAN BETWEEN THE STICKS" to discuss different Goalkeepers strategies and pick the best one for your team so hope you enjoy it.

In terms of goal keeping spot on FPL, You have to choose 2 Goal keepers to cover so there is 2 strategies that FPL Managers tend to do.

1-SET AND FORGET

Is to have ONE goal keeper and leave him without considering his fixtures. To trust your keeper and do your precious transfers to fix your team is  something that proved to be the best strategy to start your season so lets look at the options we have !

• PREMIUM GOAL KEEPERS : In terms of premiums : 
  
  
  

In the terms of premium goal keepers , on this season i think it is pretty bad idea to have spent all this money on goal keepers as last season showed that mid-priced goal keeper can outscore all the premiums as POPE showed some class last season as FPL goal keeping hero You can use your money on MIDFIELDERS and STRIKERS and get mid-priced keeper.

• MID-PRICED GOAL KEEPERS : In terms of MID-PRICED we have : 
  
  
  

If you compare premium and mid-priced options you will see that there is no big difference between them ! In fact the extra money can be used to upgrade your squad and get extra benefit.

• PROMOTED TEAMS GOAL KEEPERS : From promoted teams we have : 
  
  
  

As Always, promoted keepers can provide great value if you pick the right one.

SO WHO IS THE BEST SET & FORGET OPTIONS WE HAVE ?

I will rate them depending on fixtures, team as a whole to get into conclusions.

1. Lloris (TOT) : After being sad, I still think it is bad idea to spend 5.5 on keeping spot Yet again if you are willing to do so, Lloris can be the man to go as JOSE play style can improve SPURS defense and Lloris can seriously compete for the golden gloves this season with very promising fixtures ahead , you can literally see that his fixtures has only MAN UNITED as a top side at the beginning, so if you don't plan on early wild card you can get Lloris then get rid after 8 Game weeks .
   
   
   
    
2. RAMSDALE (SHU) : We saw how Sheffield United are on defensive perspective and their new keeper the former BOU keeper RAMSDALE can bring joy to the set and forget crew as he priced 5. He can provide serious amount of saves and with great run of fixtures we can see RAMSDALE getting popular on so many teams as their set & forget.
   
   
   

3. M.RYAN (BRI) & A.McCarthy (SOU) : At 4.5 price tag they can be the true hero at the beginning to set & forget regardless of what happens, for me i would choose McCarthy for his great fixtures at the beginning as you can see in the table above.

   2-ROTATING GOAL KEEPERS

   The second FPL strategy regarding goal keepers is to get two mid-priced 4.5 goal keepers and rotate them according to the fixtures , I have been searching pairs till i figured that RYAN/McCarthy is the best way to go as following table you will see how this due works : 

   
   

   

    Looking so good if you are willing to spend extra 0.5 to get another goal keeper & not planning to use your wild card so early.

   as you can see McCarthy started most of this combination games so you need to think well before choosing rotating goal keeper option. CHOOSE WHAT BENEFIT YOU SQUAD THE MOST REGARDING MONEY AND FIXTURES. 

   
   

   Lastly , I Shared Pool of this 2 Strategies to see what the community prefer this season if IT might help you , i know my account enough for these decisions but here are the results : 

   
   

   
   So you can see that more than half of players will prefer not to spend extra 0.5 on another keeper for rotating assets as this season will be tough on terms of money.
   
   

   IN CONCLUSION : FOR 4.5 OPTION, ALEX McCarthy is my best SET & FORGET GOAL KEEPER TO GO THIS SEASON.
